Privacy Policy

Your files

Files you upload are used solely to perform the tool you selected. Both the uploaded files and the generated results are stored temporarily on our own server and are automatically deleted within 30 minutes of your last activity (upload, processing, or download). You can also remove them sooner — they are cleared as soon as you leave or reset the page. We do not read, copy, analyse, share, or sell your files, and we never use them for anything other than the operation you requested.

All processing happens on our server using automated software — no human looks at your documents. Your files are not sent to any third-party processing service.

No account required

You don’t need to sign up or log in, and we don’t ask for personal information. We don’t run advertising, sell your data, or build personal profiles of you. To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use privacy-focused analytics that collect aggregated, non-identifying usage data (see Service providers below).

Limited technical data

To keep the service running and prevent abuse, our server briefly processes basic request metadata such as your IP address — for example, to enforce rate limits. This is used only for operating and protecting the service, is not used to identify you, and is not retained for analytics.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare as a content-delivery network and security layer. As traffic to FavorPDF passes through Cloudflare, it may process connection metadata (such as IP addresses) on our behalf to deliver the site and protect against attacks. We do not use any third-party storage service for your files.

To measure usage and improve the product, we use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic statistics and Microsoft Clarity for anonymized usage insights such as heatmaps and session replays (for example, clicks and scrolling). These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and process usage data on our behalf. Your uploaded files are processed only on our own servers and are never sent to Google or Microsoft.

Your rights (GDPR)

We follow the GDPR principles of data minimisation, purpose limitation, and storage limitation by design: we don’t hold accounts, we don’t collect names or email addresses, and your files are deleted automatically. Because we keep so little, there is normally nothing for us to look up about an individual.

If you are in the EU/EEA (or a comparable jurisdiction), you still have rights to access, correct, or erase any personal data we may hold, and to object to processing. The lawful basis for the limited metadata we process is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at shencloudtech@gmail.com.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
